I was re-reading through my issues last night, and became fixated on the small pearl-drop pendant necklace that Katchoo wears...she holds it in her mouth while fighting for Francine's life....and that we later see the elderly Francine wearing and kissing the same pendant after she hears of Katchoo's death.
Then there's the clunky heavy metal chain and pendant that the Clayborn Moore bust of Katchoo is wearing. (the small bust doesnt' have it, but the more expensive one does)
I'm curious what the story behind that necklace is....any ideas?

At the end of the first arc of volume 3, when Francie and Welch go to LA to 'rescue' Kat, when they see each other for the first time, Kat drags F into the ladies room, and when they come out, they have switched necklaces and Francie has an utterly dreamy look on her face(y'know, the look that you only get after the kinda kiss that knocks yer sox off!). The pendant is obviously important to Kat because it was Francie's. What Francie is doing with it back in the 'version 2' dream sequence I don't know...but it must have been important to Francie because Kat had worn it all those years ago.
Or so my memory tells me...
